“My Life Belongs to You”
Oh Lord, I lift my praise
To You, my faithful King,
Your mercy shines forever,
And all creation sings.
Your hand has kept me safe,
Through trials I could not face,
Your love has been my anchor,
Your mercy my embrace.
When grief surrounds my spirit,
And sorrow fills my mind,
You lift me with Your mercy,
And leave my fears behind.
Even in my brokenness,
Tears fill my eyes each day,
Yet Your love surrounds me,
And gently lights my way.
On bended knee I come to You,
Confessing all my sin,
Forgive my heart, renew my soul,
And cleanse me from within.
Oh Lord, You are my refuge,
My strength when days are few,
I give my heart completely
My life belongs to You.
“Mercy and Grace”
Oh Lord, I come before Your throne,
On bended knee, my heart laid bare,
Forgive my sins, forgive my wrongs,
And cleanse me in Your loving care.
Your mercy shines, Your grace sustains,
A light that guides me through the night,
Your love has healed my deepest wounds,
And turned my darkness into light.
For every blessing, great and small,
I lift my voice to You in praise,
For life, for breath, for all my friends
For countless gifts that fill my days.
I lift the grieving into Your care,
May peace surround all their days,
Protect them, guide them, walk with them,
And let Your light direct their ways.
May every step I take, O Lord,
Reflect Your love and way,
Teach me to serve and honor You,
And live for You each day.
“Pray and Love Them All”
Pray for the ones who disagree,
For hearts that wander, souls that flee.
Pray for the proud, the lost, the small
For Jesus came to save them all.
Love those the world forgets to see,
With quiet grace and empathy.
Let kindness flow from heart to hand,
And shine the love that Christ has planned.
Pray for the broken, bruised, and scarred,
For God can heal what life has marred.
Each soul you meet, both near and far,
Reflects His image, as we are.
Love past the color, creed, or view,
For Christ loves me, and Christ loves you.
When mercy leads the life you live,
There’s nothing love will not forgive.
So pray for all, both friend and foe,
Let gentle grace in you still grow.|
For when you love the way God planned,
You’ll touch the world with Jesus’ hand.
“Remember Me”
Remember me when I am gone
But please look to God above
Because that is where I will be
Surrounded by His amazing love
Remember me when you want to laugh
Or put a smile on your face
You are loved by a Savior
And saved by His amazing grace
Remember me when you see
Someone who has a need
Please share Christ with them
And for their soul to be freed
Remember me Lord when I pass
From this life and into eternity
The day when my faith becomes sight
And Jesus’ face I will finally see
“The Grace to Forgive”
Upon the cross, You chose to pray,
“Forgive them, Lord,” though they turned away.
No sorrow shown, no plea was made,
Yet still Your love would not be swayed.
So when I face a hardened heart,
That will not yield, that stands apart,
I look to You, who bore my sin,
And find the strength to love again.
Forgiveness, Lord, is not their due,
But flows from grace I’ve found in You.
Though they refuse, my soul is free,
For Christ’s own mercy lives in me.
“Really Miss You”
It’s been a year since you left
And the pain is still very real
But God will be my peace
No matter how bad I may feel
It’s because of Jesus that
We can have joy each day
It’s not based on circumstances
But a love that never passes away
Some days I won’t feel better
Even though I wish we could
But God is faithful to me
And God is always good
I know that many others
Are going through hurt and pain
My prayer for them is that Jesus
Will make them feel whole again
So, even in my grief I know
God will always see me through
But I just want you to know
That I really, really miss you
“Never Have to Walk Alone”
Where can our hope be found
And Where can we find our rest
If we look to people or the world
We will become even more distressed
The only hope we have is Jesus
Who never wants us to be sad
He will turn our mourning into dancing
And will make our hearts feel glad
Jesus will carry your burdens and
He will take away all your fears
And when we finally get to heaven
There will be no more mourning or tears
If your self-worth is not in Jesus
You will never know true love
It does not come from this world
But only from our Father above
So, we can take up our cross and
Follow Jesus till we are home
The paths may be hard, but in Jesus
You will never have to walk alone
“Friends”
A friend will be there for you
If you have a need or worry
They will have time for you
and never be in a hurry
A friend will never leave
and will call out of the blue
They are sincere in their care
And in their true love for you
A friend is sometimes
very hard to come by
But if you just be yourself
you won’t even have to try
A friend is a gift from
Our heavenly Father above
And a true friend will have
A heart full of God’s love
So, be happy with the
Friends you have today
Because a friend will
never be very far away
“Jesus is Close to Me”
When I try to be in control
I always cause my own strife
God needs to have control and
Knows what I need in this life
I used to wonder if people
Really knew how I feel
I wondered if anyone loved me
Or if God’s love was real
My spirit can be greedy with
So much jealousy and pride
I know that only in Jesus
I have a place to hide
I really miss my loved ones
And my grief is all I see
But they are close to Jesus
And Jesus is close to me
“Never Invisible to You”
It seems like I must be invisible
And it only adds to my fears
No one wants to be around me
And that brings me many tears
I don’t know where else to turn
And the loneliness is hard to bear
Then I hear this still small voice
Saying “I am here, I am here”
It is the Lord calling me but
I still wonder why I feel bad
I then realize it’s in Jesus
That makes my heart feel glad
I don’t need anyone but God
And the One who paid the price
He died for my all my sins so
My identity remains in Christ
I know Jesus is the only One who
Has been helping me get through
So, I thank you, Lord for being there
For I am never invisible to You
“Selfish Tears”
If a loved one is in heaven
I have no need to cry
They are only selfish tears
And we all will someday die
We should always rejoice because
All your worries will cease
It’s in this place called heaven
Where you’ll have everlasting peace
We know that to live is Christ
And to die is great gain
Heaven is a place where
There is no crying, death or pain
I guess I must be the most
Selfish person on earth
When it comes to selfish tears
I know I get my money’s worth
Time will heal some wounds
As God takes away my fears
But I know sometimes at night
I still cry those selfish tears
“All my needs He will Supply”
Dear God, I wanted to thank you
For always being there for me
You always remain faithful and
Give me the eyes to truly see
To see Your goodness and Your love
That is filled with Your amazing grace
And even in the hardest of times
We still have that smile on our face
It’s not about us or our feelings
That really truly matter to You
It’s about trusting and loving our savior
In all the things we may go through
I want nothing else but You Lord
And to the world I say goodbye
I gave my life to Jesus and
All my needs He will supply
“Painful Trial”
Sometimes I wonder what is happening
And what I am going through
It seems like the days drag on
And the nights drag on too
Maybe it’s God trying to change me
And I need to go through the pain
It doesn’t matter what it is but
I know I will feel whole again
Sometime It’s God’s discipline
that takes takes our breath away
It is not a fun season to attend
But it will make us trust and obey
I just need to draw near to God
and I will be fine in a little while
All I can do is wait on the Lord
As I go through this painful trial
