Cookie Recipe

I have baked cookies for over 20 years. Some have asked for the recipe but I couldn’t give it out because I sold them. Well, now I am able to give it out. Remember, just having a recipe won’t make you a good baker. You have to figure out your own style and way of doing it. It took me a while to figure it out.

Ingredients:
1 white crisco stick
2 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cups sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Add to bowl:
1 White Crisco Stick
3/4 Cup Sugar
3/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs

After you have added these ingredients, mix well until creamy

Next, add these ingredients:
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp lite salt
1 tsp (and little extra) New Baking Soda

After you have added the flour, salt and baking soda, mix together.

Next:
Add Nestle Toll House Semisweet Chips or anything else you want to use

Mix the chips in with the batter and, when it is all mixed, leave it sit for about 5 minutes. After about five minutes, use a spoon and put the cookie dough onto a cookie sheet. It is up to you how big or small you make each individual cookie. After the sheet is filled and the oven is preheated to 375 degrees, put the cookie sheet into oven. Set the timer for 8 minutes. After the 8 minutes are up, take the sheet out of the oven and let it sit for about 15 minutes before you take them off the sheet. Repeat this step until all the dough is used up. Another reminder is to make sure you only leave the cookies in for 8 minutes. They will look a little doughy but that’s how you want them. Also, when you put the second set of cookies in the oven you may want to watch to make sure they don’t get too well done. You may want to leave them in for only seven minutes, if you feel they are overdone. If the sides of the cookies are getting brown, take them out. After all this, let the
cookies cool down and then you can enjoy them! Also, one thing I do so they don’t break apart is to put them in a freezer for a little while.
